Our main research interests are focused on reproduction of mammals and all aspects connected with this subject on different behavioral level. We study:

• The role of olfactory and sound stimuli in intra- and interspecies communication
• Effect of social and environmental factors on rodents reproduction
• Sexual selection and the role of dominance in the reproduction of rodents
• Ethics of animal experiments and welfare of laboratory rodents

Our research model are two species of rodents: bank vole (Myodes glareolus) and common vole (Microtus arvalis).
