A gold medal for the invention developed by a research team from the Institute of Environmental Sciences

The invention "Biological method of limiting the development of filamentous bacteria in activated sludge in sewage treatment plants", developed by scientists from the Faculty of Biology of the Jagiellonian University, was awarded a gold medal during the twelfth edition of the International Fair of Inventions and Innovations Intarg 2018, which took place on 20-21 June 2018 at the International Center Congressional in Katowice.
