Professor Wiesław Babik from our Institute was the winner of the National Science Center (NCN) award in the category of life sciences. He received a distinction for research on adaptive evolution of animals with particular emphasis on the variability of MHC genes.
The distinction is awarded for significant scientific achievements made as part of basic research conducted in a Polish scientific unit, documented by publications affiliated with the Polish unit.
